This year there are 4 Kiltwalks running across Scotland – Dundee , Edinburgh,  Aberdeen and Glasgow.   So don your kilt (or anything tartan) and do something great for Strathcarron Hospice at the same time.

Where are the Kiltwalk events?

  • Glasgow on 29th April at Glasgow Green, Greendyke Street, G1 5DB
  • Aberdeen on 3rd June at Duthie Park, Great Southern Rd, Aberdeen, AB11 7TH
  • Dundee on 19th August at Bruce Embankment, St Andrews, KY16 9AB
  • Edinburgh on 16th September at BT Murrayfield, Edinburgh, EH12 5PJ

So pick your venue(s), throw on some tartan and head for the glorious Scottish countryside!

Expect plenty of fun and to see some of Scotland’s beautiful scenery. You’ve got three distances to choose from but there are age restrictions to bear in mind.

  • The Mighty Stride (approx. 26 miles) - Restricted to participants aged 13 and above
  • The Big Stoll (approx. 13 miles) - Restricted to participants aged 10 and above
  • The Wee Wander (approx. 6 miles) - Restricted to participants aged 5 and above

Any person under the age of 16 wishing to participate in the event must be accompanied by an adult and obtain the written consent of their parent or legal guardian in the form provided by the Kiltwalk for participation in the event and provide the Kiltwalk with a copy of such consent along with their registration form.

Once you have finished, you’ll be greeted at the finish line with a well-earned drink, a hot meal and live music found at the Kiltwalk Village.  If you still have energy, join your fellow Kiltwalkers on the dance floor to celebrate in true Kiltwalk fashion!

Mighty Stride: £31.65 per adult/child

When you register for the Kiltwalk, please also sign up for an everydayhero account if you don’t already have one. This means that if you choose to do the Kiltwalk for a charity like Strathcarron, every penny you raise will go straight to the charity helping those who need it most. But in addition, The Hunter Foundation will top up your donations with a whopping, great big extra 40%.
