  • Recognise what people with life limiting illness and their family need in terms of care and support as they live with illness and at end of life.
  • Explore the experiences of family carers relating to the gaps in palliative care practice at end of life.
  • Discuss aspects of care that could be improved and how this may impact on patient/carer experience.
