Join us at Killiecrankie on Saturday 21st March 2020 for the breathtaking, jaw dropping experience of a lifetime! Suitable for anyone aged 10 to 110*, this is the ultimate adrenaline packed adventure. The Highland Fling bridge swing commences on a specially constructed platform 132 feet over the River Garry just outside Killicrankie, near Pitlochry. Rigged in a full body harness, you will be released from above, dropping into a free fall of around fifty feet before accelerating through an arc of around 165 feet under the platform where the main anchors are attached, enjoying spectacular views of the gorge, hills, river and forests. Once the swing is over you will be winched back up onto the platform.

This is a safe and unforgettable adrenalin packed experience using the latest technology and safety equipment, led by experienced, qualified Bridge Swing Masters. This is not a bungee jump, and the whole transition from free fall to swing is incredibly smooth, so you really can just sit back and enjoy every thrilling moment!

Here at Strathcarron Hospice we have to raise over £12,900 every single day - over and above the limited NHS funding we receive - in order to provide our specialist palliative care services to people living with life limiting conditions across Forth Valley, Kilsyth and Cumbernauld. As part of your Highland Swing experience we will ask you to commit to a personal fundraising target of £200 per person - this sum would cover the cost of eight hours of nursing care for one patient, either here at the Hospice or in their own home, whichever best suits their needs. It is a privilege for our staff to care for our patients and their families, but we simply could not continue to do all that we do without the support of people like you.

Sign up now for this amazing adventure, and help us to continue providing the very special care, love and support our patients and their families deserve.

*please note signed consent from parent or guardian will be required for all participants under the age of 16.
