As you might have guessed, we are taking our annual 10K Race virtual for 2020. Will you join the challenge?

Sign up now, plot your own 10K route in your local area, and run it anytime between 6am and 6pm on Sunday 4th October to support your hospice.

Link your fundraising page with Strava to see your time on our official leaderboard and receive a free finishers medal and certificate.

For our younger runners, we will once again be awarding the Paul Canavan Memorial Cup to the fastest runner, male or female, aged 16 years or under; and our School's Shield to the fastest school-age participant.

The Paul Canavan Memorial Cup was gifted to Strathcarron Hospice by former local MP and MSP Dennis Canavan, whose son Paul sadly died in the hospice in 1989, aged 16 years old. The Cup is awarded to the fastest 10K runner, aged 16 or under, in memory of Paul.

2019 winners Michael Wallace, Queensferry High School & Cameron Joyce, New College Lanarkshire with Dennis Canavan

We are delighted that Mr Canavan has presented the Cup and Shield for the last 30 years to the worthy winners which include illustrious names such as Commonwealth Games Marathon runner, Ross Houston and Olympian, Andrew Butchart.

Could this be your year to add your name to the Cup or Shield?

We need your support now more than ever. Sign up today and do something amazing on 4th October for your local hospice. With your help, we can continue to care for all those who need us now and in the future.
