Training and development Education and Training Supporting families of residents at end of life within the care home setting Learning Outcomes include Develop an increased understanding of how family systems respond to loss and change in the care home setting Enhance knowledge and skills in communicating effectively with families of residents at end of life Enable 'Sensitive Discussions' with families related to end of life care Engage in experiential reflection on individual skills, attitudes, and ways of being to support families at end of life. In addition to classroom based learning this course will adopt an interactive approach involving participating in interactive demonstrations.
