Local business Mrs Tilly’s is joining forces with Strathcarron Hospice to raise vital funds.

Over the next year, Mrs Tilly’s is donating bars of its award-winning fudge to Strathcarron Hospice in a bid to raise enough cash to pay for a full day of care for our patients and their families.

As in independent hospice, we currently need to raise over £12,900 a day to provide our services at the hospice building in Denny and out in our local communities. This enables us to continue to provide care and support to over 1,400 people with a life-limiting illness or condition every year, at a time when both they and their family need it most, and this support from Mrs Tilly’s will make a meaningful difference.

As of Thursday 14th March, you will find Mrs Tilly’s fudge stocked in all of our charity shops at a suggested donation of £1 per bar. The full donation made will go directly to supporting patient care here at the Hospice.

Elisabeth Paterson, founder of Mrs Tilly’s, said:

“Mrs Tilly’s is delighted to be working with Strathcarron Hospice.  We re-located our company to the Falkirk area 5 years ago and during that time we have done our best to give something back to the  local community.  Strathcarron does an amazing job helping so many people at their most difficult time and I am sure we all know of someone who has benefitted from their care and support.   It is a privilege to be associated with such a good cause.”
