Volunteers Week 2017 celebrates volunteers who are making a difference to communities and charities across the country. Here at Strathcarron Hospice we simply could not continue to care for all the people we do without the support of our many volunteers - over 380 volunteers in the Hospice, our shops and out in the community perform a huge variety of tasks, from sorting donations and washing dishes in the kitchen to administration tasks, reception duties and befriending.Every single one of them makes a very valuable contribution, and we cannot imagine how we would ever manage without them!

Our volunteers are very special and, just like our staff, each one of them has the ethos of Hospice care in their hearts. They are very much part of what makes Strathcarron the amazing place we know and love. If you would like to be a part of the Strathcarron experience and have a few hours to spare on a regular basis we have a number of volunteering opportunities at the moment and would love to hear from you! Just give our Volunteer Coordinator Eileen Ashford a call on 01324 826222 or email [email protected] Together, we can all make a difference!
