A range of services and therapies are available in Strathcarron Hospice and in the community.
The Allied Health Professionals (AHP) Team comprises of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Rehab Nurse and Therapy Assistant Practitioner. There is also access to Speech and Language Therapy.
The AHP Team takes a lead role in providing and promoting a rehabilitative approach.Read more
Strathcarron Chaplains provide support for all people of all faiths and no faith. They provide emotional, psychological and spiritual support for patients, families and staff working at the Hospice.Read more
Strathcarron Hospice has a team of Social Workers who can provide social and emotional support to individuals, their families and friends.Read more
Alongside traditional and clinical treatments, we have a team of experienced complementary therapists who can offer therapies which have been shown to relax both the body and the mind.Read more
Whether we are in contact with you at home or whether you are visiting the hospice, all of our services and staff are eager to support carers as well as patients. We run Carers' Support Group where you can meet others who are in a similar situation to yourself and about helping you to identify ways in which your well-being can be maintained.Read more
We offer information and support to adults whose loved ones received care provided by our hospice. Strathcarron also runs support groups for children aged 6 – 18 who have been affected by loss, grief and change because someone who is special to them has died.Read more
The Specialist Lymphoedema Clinic based at Strathcarron Hospice is part of the Forth Valley Lymphoedema Service and provides specialist treatment for people with lymphoedema from any cause.Read more
