40 years ago, Strathcarron Hospice was founded on the back of the hospice movement. Our mission was to support people to not only die well, but to live with until the end of life. This still holds true today.

As an independent hospice, we need to raise over £5million each year to keep our services running. We rely on the support of local people and we need you to act now so that we can continue to care for local families who need us.

Make a donation today or pledge your support. We’ve been caring for 40 years. Please help us to care for 40 more.

FAQs

Q) What does 'pledge my support' mean?

We are asking you to commit to raising a minimum of £218 for Strathcarron Hospice in 2021. There are so many ways in which you could do this and we have plenty events and campaigns for you to get involved in. You might already have some ideas yourself and we're here to support you every step of the way.

Q) Why £218?

When the Hospice opened its doors in 1981, we had to raise £218 per day to keep the Hospice open. Now, 40 years on, our services have grown so much that we have to raise £14,315 every day to continue to provide our specialist care, love and support to people across Forth Valley, Cumbernauld & Kilsyth.

Q) What events can I take part in?

We have a full calendar of events planned for 2021. You can view them online now.

Q) What support will you give me?

After you pledge your support, a member of the Fundraising Team will be in touch. We can discuss ideas with you, help you set up an online fundraising page and provide you with branded materials to help make your fundraising a success.
