Great Wall of China Trek 2024

The Great Wall of China has been voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Stretching for 6,000km, it zig-zags its way across China, snaking across mountains and through valleys.

Join #TeamStrathcarron as we hike for five days along this magnificent man-made structure. One of the best in the market, our challenge takes us over watch towers and mountains, through historic battlement stations that are well off the tourist trail – there are many sections during this challenge where we’ll feel the Great Wall is for us only, with no-one else in sight. Rest assured, the Great Wall of China provides a fantastic backdrop to some fantastic trekking.

Exclusive to Global Adventure Challenges, we ‘lend a hand’ repairing a section of the Wall that is currently being reconstructed. We will each place our brick in this newly restored section, ensuring our own place in the Great Wall of China!  Memories to cherish for a lifetime!

There are two options to register for this trek -

Option A - Minimum Sponsorship

Registration Fee £299 + Minimum Sponsorship £3,290 + Airport Tax and Fuel Surcharge Contribution: £250

Please note 80% of your minimum sponsorship will be due 11 weeks prior to your trek (27th July 2024)

Option B - Self-Funding

Registration Fee £299 + Self Funding £1,645 + Airport Tax and Fuel Surcharge Contribution £250
