37.5 Hours per Week (5 days over 7)

Do you believe in making food that changes somebody’s day?  Have you got the knowledge and skills to manage a professional catering service for people with a range of illnesses?  Do you have experience in leading a team?  If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you to think about joining the Strathcarron Hospice team as our Catering Manager.

You will have responsibility for providing and managing a responsive, quality food service experience for patients, staff and visitors to the Hospice.  This includes menu planning, cooking and baking, stock control, maintaining budgetary targets, administration, supervision and training of staff/volunteers.

We expect you will hold a SVQ Level 3 qualification in Hospitality and have relevant catering and management experience, particular in a health and care setting. You should have previous supervisory experience as well as good communication, numeric and organisational skills.

An enthusiastic team player you will have a flexible and positive approach to your work with the ability to work well under pressure.
