My darling daughter has organised a special birthday treat for me... to 'Zipslide the Clyde'! The starting point is just down from the Riverside Museum and it will take place on the 2nd of September 2023. In order for me to take part I'm required to raise funds for a charity so I selected the Strathcarron Hospice. Please donate if you can.

Strathcarron provide specialist hospice care and expert end of life care for the people of Forth Valley, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth. They care for people with illnesses that cannot be cured including cancer, lung, heart or kidney failure and a range of non-malignant and neurological diseases. They are also actively involved in research and education in palliative care and they promote and influence the delivery of palliative care locally and beyond.

The £250 I aim to raise will pay for 10 hours of nursing care.
