Lewis Carr My family will always be thankful for the care my gran received in her final days while at Strathcarron Hospice. A personal goal of mine has been to run a marathon so raising money for the hospice in her memory means it’s the best of both worlds

Just a note to say thanks to everyone who has donated towards my Stirling Marathon fundraiser for Strathcarron Hospice so far. Unfortunately like most things Covid-19 has struck and the event has been moved to 9th May 2021 so basically a year away.

Luckily I get to keep my place in the race and I WILL be taking part. But in the meantime, as a way to say thanks to people who’ve donated already I’ve decided to do one of these 30 day challenges that everyone seems to be doing.

So from tomorrow I’m going to commit to running a minimum of 300km over 30 days (sounds better in my head than minimum 10k every day for a month eh ). I’ll post daily updates on my social media accounts to make sure I’m accountable and you can all laugh at my terrible times 😅

If anyone has any spare pennies then I’m sure the Hospice would be very thankful for anything coming their way at the moment as they’re struggling like everyone. They require £12,900 a day just to run their services. Every donation is appreciated for a cause that’s close to my family and trust me I’ll need the motivation 😂

I’ll keep this page updated over the next year as I build up to the Marathon!
