[UPDATE 06/04/2023: We made it! 12 days of wayfaring through snow, wind, and bright spring sun, with fascinating people and places at every turn. Thank you all for your incredible support.]

My plan is to hike 380km (235 miles) along Scotland's Great Trails for Strathcarron Hospice.

I'll set off from Inverness on 26 March, following the Great Glen Way, West Highland Way, and John Muir Way to arrive (with a fresh blister or two) in Edinburgh on 6 April.

This route will take me on a grand trek down the Gleann Mòr to Fort William, through Rannoch Moor and along the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, before crossing the Central Belt to finish up on Calton Hill. I'll be joined along the way by friends and family, all walking in memory of my brilliant dad Alan Dewar - who was always up for an adventure in the wild.

Any donation, large or small, is hugely appreciated.
