Shortly after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer my mum’s partner of 20 years, Owen, spent his final hours under the wonderful care of Strathcarron hospice.

Not only did they care for him and keep him comfortable but they provided endless cups of tea, beds overnight, a living area for us to spend time together, and even arts & crafts so his grandchildren could make things to remember him by. They also continue to provide support to us.

I cannot thank them enough for the kindness and compassion they provided during such a difficult time and hope that whatever I raise can ensure their work can continue to help others.
