Eilidh and Tom are taking on the ultimate runners challenge of running 26.2 miles around our hometown of Stirling in October 2020 to raise awareness of the wonderful work that Strathcarron Hospice provides to those who need it most in the final moments of life for patients and their family.

We will be running in memory of Georgie, Tom's Gran who we all love and miss greatly. Gerogie sadly lost her fight with Cancer in 2019 and passed away peacefully in Strathcarron Hospice, where they did everything they could to ensure the last moments were as comfortable and accommodating as possible. Georgie loved her hometown of Stirling, and we will be thinking of her every step of the way.

Cancer touches so many of us, whether it be a family member, a friends parent or close neighbour, the work Strathcarron do day in day out makes a huge difference to those going through a very difficult time. Strathcarron requires to raise a whopping £12,900 EACH DAY, simply to do what they do.

It's going to be a tough one, but the reminder of how tough it is for those effected by this disease is far greater, so we are ready for you Stirling Marathon 2020!
