Stu, Grant, Barry, Neil, and Duncan supported by Gaz Our friend Sean (2nd from right in the photo) developed a bone marrow cancer. Since undergoing chemotherapy to treat the condition Sean has suffered a transient ischaemic attack (tia or also known as a mini stroke). We want to help in some way so that the Strathcarron Hospice can continue to help people like Sean.

Life’s a journey not a destination ....

This is a journey of hopeful inspiration to everyone. We will all in time be touched by health challenges and ‘Team Placebo’ aims in some small way to not only inspire others, but to raise awareness in valuable support networks like this and other organisations as well as raise vital funds to these life enhancing charities and foundations.

Together everyone is stronger healthier happier and connected.

As our shared passion in the group is mountain biking we have decided that we will attempt to cover the major off road route in Scotland, The West Highland Way. The WHW is a 100 mile off road route from Milngavie to Fort William that covers areas such as Loch Lomond and Glencoe.

To make it a bit more interesting we have committed to achieving this in one effort thus the fundraiser title, The West Highland Way in a Day. In fact our target time is in under 18hrs, i.e. before last orders :-)

This is just the beginning.

Team Placebo look forward to our future fundraising efforts together next year once Sean is fully recovered and back in the saddle.

Thank you in advance for any kind donation that you feel able to make. We shall undertake the challenge on the weekend of the 15th June 2019. Stu, Grant, Barry, Neil, and Duncan supported by Gaz
