In Memory

James Ure

23 Jul 1939 - 30 Oct 2020

Last week our family lost the most loving, caring, bravest and inspirational soul that we could ever wish to grace all our lives. A man like no other who only wanted the simplest things: to love and be loved by his family and friends and make everyone happy. A true inspiration in every sense of the word with a 'fighting spirit' beyond any imagination which he showed until his final goodbye. When we struggle to find too many heroes in this world right now we need look no further than our amazing husband, dad, granda, brother, uncle and friend to fill that gap, you were truly an amazing person who instilled values in all of us that will live forever. To always be kind, to never ever give up no matter how high that mountain may be and how rocky the road may seem and most of all to love each other with all our heart and to always stick together as a family through the rough times and to laugh with each other through the better times. Dad thank you from Jim and I for being the most wonderful granda to our girls (your weans.) For your praise and patience and support and guidance for all of us and your never ending wisdom and love. You have left everlasting memories that no illness or heartache can ever take away, we will keep walking tall and be brave as you always asked us to do. This is not goodbye dad this is only "See You Later Pal". The Song May Have Ended But The Melody Lingers On. You really were Simply The Best....💙💙💙 We would like to pay tribute to the amazing care, compassion and support our family received from the 'Hospice At Home' Team these past few months, we are forever grateful to you all for everything you did to help make the last few weeks with Jim truly precious. We hope that this small gesture of donations will help in some way to keep this invaluable work going to allow loved ones to stay together during their most difficult times.
