Veronica was a great mum, granny, daughter, sister, aunty, in-law, friend and work colleague. She lived life to the full and was the life and soul of any party or social gathering. She was a vivacious and charismatic woman who was always up for a laugh and a good sing-along. A lifelong civil servant, she worked in various government departments, progressing to Disability Service Centre Manager in the Department of Work and Pensions. She was extremely well loved and respected by her colleagues. Veronica leaves a huge void in our lives. She was taken far too soon - had so much more life to live and love to give. She faced her diagnosis with courage and acceptance and died with dignity. Strathcarron Hospice made her final days very peaceful. She was cared for so tenderly and respectfully and we will forever be grateful for that.
