Make a Will for Strathcarron Hospice in October

Making a Will is something many of us overlook or don’t get round to organising. We lead busy lives and it can be difficult to find the time to sit down and think about our plans and wishes for the future.

Having a Will in place gives you and those you love, peace of mind that your wishes will be met after your death. It can also help to reduce stress and cost for your family if you already have these decisions in place. Furthermore, you can use your Will to ensure your values live on by making a gift to charity after you've provided for your family and loved ones.

You can make a Will at any age or stage of life and having a Will allows you to decide what happens to your money, property and possessions after your death. As October is Make a Will Month, now is the ideal time for you to write or update your Will.

Many local solicitors and estate planners will write or update your Will this month in return for a donation to Strathcarron Hospice.

A donation of £120 for a single will is suggested, which can pay for 5 hours of nursing care here at the Hospice.
