This May is Payroll Giving Awareness Month. You can help us by:

1) Choosing to make a regular donation from your pre-tax salary

2) Speaking with your employer/employees to let them know about Payroll Giving

What is Payroll Giving?

Payroll Giving is a simple, easy and cost-effective way to support Strathcarron Hospice.

Donating this way allows you to give even more to the Hospice as your donation is made before tax is deducted. For example, as a basic rate taxpayer, a £10 donation will only cost you £8 from your net pay.

How do my donations help?

As an independent hospice, we need to raise over £12,900 a day to keep our services running. We rely on the continued support of our local community and that's why a regular donation is one of the most effective ways for you to help us.

Just £10 per month can pay for a hand or foot massage, helping to relieve pain and reduce anxiety. £24 can pay for one hour of nursing care here at the Hospice.

How can I make a donation?

The first thing to do is check whether or not your employer has a Payroll Giving scheme. You should contact your HR department or alternatively, you can check online.

If your employer is listed you can then fill in an online donation form and choose to support Strathcarron Hospice directly from your pay.

Can Strathcarron Hospice help me to set up a Payroll Giving scheme?

If you don't have a Payroll Giving scheme in place, we can offer advice and support in setting this up and put you in touch with Payroll Giving Agencies who can help administer this on your behalf. We can also arrange to visit staff to promote this scheme and explain the benefits of a donation to Strathcarron Hospice.
