Setting up an In Memory Fund is one of the most special ways in which to pay tribute to a loved one. All money donated in memory of your loved one will be held together, creating a growing and tangible fund towards Strathcarron Hospice.
Setting up an In Memory Fund takes just a couple of minutes and allows donations online at anytime from anywhere and you can add favourite photographs and share your fondest memories.
Your In Memory Fund can be shared with friends and family through email, Facebook or Twitter which allows everyone to contribute now and in the future.
Many supporters take on a challenge in memory of a loved one to raise money for Strathcarron Hospice and if you choose to do this you are able to ask family and friends to sponsor you through your In Memory Fund Page. This is possible with any type of activity whether or not it is a Strathcarron Hospice organised event.

Much loved Wife, Mother, Gran and friend, Jackie was the loveliest lady you could ever meet and will be missed so much by everyone who knew her. Sadly due to Covid 19 the many people who would wish to say their goodbyes to Jackie were unable to do so. Mark was an open book he had a dry wit and huge heart. He loved family and friends dearly and after his diagnosis he said he had no regrets and left nothing unsaid. He left behind a massive hole in our lives but did it so bravely with his family at the centre of everything he did and we are so proud, but miss him every day. We cry because he is not with us but smile because he lived well and we have so many good memories to help remind us of all the good times we shared. My mum Sheena was a loving Mum, Granny, Sister, Aunt and friend to many people. She sadly passed away on the 2nd of January after a short illness with cancer, although she had health problems for many years she never complained. Sheena was very fond of the hospice having originally been a patient and then went on to volunteer on a Tuesday and enjoyed her time in both roles. Everyone I have spoken to speak very highly of her and say she was a courageous, funny and caring person who will hold a sp 19 Jun 1951 - 02 Jan 2021 Read more

Norah was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She fought a brave battle against cancer since she was diagnosed in July 2019. Sadly, her fight was lost on July 21st this year. It was very difficult with the constraints of Covid, but her family all kept in touch and some were lucky to see her at the end. Instead of flowers, we would prefer donations to the hospice, to say thank you for the care, respect and consideration they showed her in her brief stay there until her sa 30 Nov 1936 - 21 Jul 2020 Read more
Jackie was full of life and fun and taken too soon from all of her many friends, colleagues and family who supported her through her journey with breast cancer. She and her family were so appreciative of the support she received from the Hospice, both as an out-patient and latterly as an in-patient in the last two months of her illness, that we would like to continue to raise funds for the Hospice, especially at this difficult time, when the Hospice has limited sources of support. 01 May 1962 - 22 Dec 2019 Read more

My mum was the most amazing, brave and wonderful woman I've ever met. She was someone who lived through alot of sadness and tragedy yet never let it get her down. She always had a smile on and was there to help anyone before she helped herself. Even after being diagnosed with breast cancer she was more worried about how others were doing, especially my little boy. Callen was her little ray of light. They were always joined at the hip. Somehow a special relationship was forged between the two fro 16 May 1951 - 29 May 2018 Read more
Tom fought as a true warrior against the cholangiocarcinoma. He never lost the hope and he never gave up, fighting until the last second. Earth is a place for imperfect people to improve themselves, and Tom was perfect already. Probably this is why he had to leave us so soon. As I am from Brazil, I never imagined that a place like Strathcarron could even exist. They are not only concerned about the comfort of their patients but also about the living ones. I don't have words to describe how am 06 Sep 1962 - 18 Jan 2020 Read more
