We are looking for a fully registered doctor with at least four years’ post-graduate experience and an interest in palliative medicine to join our team of Specialty Doctors. Previous palliative care experience, whilst helpful, is not essential as full training will be given and you will work as part of a very supportive team. We would also consider applicants who have just completed their two years' foundation training, for the position of Hospice Physician. The successful applicant would work 4 days a week (8 sessions) plus a non-residential on-call commitment of 1 in 5 to cover overnights and weekends. This position is temporary for an initial period of 1 year for maternity leave cover, we are flexible on the start date being either in August or September 2022.
