Strathcarron Hospice is an independent hospice which provides specialist palliative care and expert end of life care for people from all over the Central Belt. It provides a 24-bed inpatient unit, Day Care, [email protected], Community Nurse Specialists and Lymphoedema clinic. The hospice needs to raise over £12,900 every day to keep these services running. I piped outside in the local area every night since lockdown started on 24th March for 100 nights in a row. I am also raising funds by piping for birthdays and special events for people who are staying at home.This year I have played at over 45 birthdays/anniversaries and I also piped every weekend up until Christmas in Bridge of Allan. The kindness and generosity of everyone has been quite overwhelming and quite humbling. I will never ever forget this experience.
