We lost Anne to CJD last year. She was an incredible positive influence in both our lives. She filled RDA lessons with joy and laughter, wonderful human being. The disease cruelly removed Anne's ability to communicate and her independence as she lost control of her body.

Strathcarron staff were simply amazing. I'm not sure what I expected in a hospice but it wasn't that. I have an incredible memory of LillyAnn and Anne reading together there. Anne's face lit up to see 'her kiddo'.

We will honour her memory every way we can. So LillyAnn has shaved off her gorgeous locks, sending them to the little princess trust and raising money for the people who looked after Anne. LillyAnn did asked me and I was quite shocked, but I am so so proud of her. Fiona Patton
