This year, I’ll be taking part in the Kiltwalk, walking from Glasgow to Balloch (22.7 miles), in memory of my dad, William Brownlow, and to raise money for Strathcarron Hospice.

I’ve also managed to rope in Cake Days A Week and Instagram legend, Christie Boyle — a friend so much younger than me that when I was turning 40, she thought I was actually turning 50! This will be her first fitness challenge since becoming a mum… and she did say it “will be easy.”

Strathcarron Hospice needs to raise over £19,000 every day to keep their services running, so anything we can contribute will go a long way.

In the final months of my dad’s life, when he was bedbound, Strathcarron carers visited our home three times a day. Each time, they arrived with positivity and laughter — exactly what my dad needed, as that was the kind of person he was.

If you’re able to donate, it would mean a lot and help support this incredible cause — all in memory of a true legend, William Brownlow. Vincent & Christie
