Jean was the strongest and bravest of ladies, always cheery and true to herself and we are privileged to be her family. Mum's strength was tested many times in her life. Her final test was her fight with metastatic ovarian cancer. Although her own situation meant that her need for the support of Strathcarron was minimal, she,and we, greatly appreciated the care she did receive particularly on the day she died. In her life Jean supported Strathcarron as a local charity. So in memory of her we chose to set up this page to help others receive the care they need at such a difficult time in their lives.
