Senga Currie

On Saturday 6th February 2021, Senga (nee Hay), aged 55 of Stirling, later Larbert, peacefully lost her battle to cancer, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was a great wife, mum and friend to many over the years. Senga lived a life full of memories, fun and humour and was supported daily by an incredible network of friends and family. She was an open book with a huge heart, left nothing unsaid and lived a life, bravely, that was full of laughter right up to her last moments. Funeral cortege will be leaving the family home at Byres Cottages, Larbert, 12.20pm on Friday 19 February, going via Bellsdyke Road, Torwood and Plean for those wishing to pay their last respects. Strathcarron Hospice were incredible in her final months and we appreciate their support and expertise in allowing Senga her wish to remain in our home that she had built with us over the years. Instead of flowers, we would prefer donations to the hospice, to say thank you for the care, respect and consideration they showed her and us and to help them continue to provide the unending support to other families in need.
