Tom fought as a true warrior against the cholangiocarcinoma. He never lost the hope and he never gave up, fighting until the last second. Earth is a place for imperfect people to improve themselves, and Tom was perfect already. Probably this is why he had to leave us so soon. As I am from Brazil, I never imagined that a place like Strathcarron could even exist. They are not only concerned about the comfort of their patients but also about the living ones. I don't have words to describe how amazing is their job. They gave a lot of comfort to Tom and lots of psychological support for myself, and I am extremely grateful for this. Strathcarron Hospice is a piece of heaven on Earth.
