40 years of caring

As many readers will know, this year Strathcarron Hospice celebrated 40 years of caring for local people at a time when it was most needed. 

Through the years we have been with patients and families during a very vulnerable time. The Strathcarron Team has stood by your side through happy times and at times, heartbreak. More importantly you have also stood alongside us for the last 40 years by supporting the Charity. It is only with your generosity that we are able to provide specialist care, support and love to over 1,400 people every year.

As costs rise and services develop to meet the ever-changing and increasing demand, our costs, after NHS funding, have risen to £14,315 every single day of the year.  Your support is so important to us, now more than ever, as we re-emerge following the global pandemic.

There are many different ways you can get involved; it doesn't have to be running a marathon! Of course, you can set yourself a challenge if that's not your style you could organise a little coffee morning with friends, a pub quiz for the regulars or even a garden sale for fruit and vegetables.
