Can you believe it's February already? But, perhaps for many, it will be a relief that January is behind us and spring is just around the corner. For Strathcarron Hospice, February is the month we celebrate Snowdrops. The Hospice Snowdrop Garden is in full bloom. The patients and staff always look forward to seeing these tiny white flowers pushing their way through the cold earth to bloom once again. The Snowdrop is Strathcarron's symbol, it signifies renewal and growth. The first flower to bloom at the end of winter, it gives a nod that it’s the beginning of spring, so bring with them a feeling of hope. You can show your support for Strathcarron’s February Snowdrop Appeal in many different ways:1. Wear your Snowdrop pin and let everyone know why you are wearing it. These can be purchased from many businesses across our local communities. If you or anyone you know, operates a small business or shop, you can get a box of Snowdrop pins for your customers to buy.2. Virtually plant a Snowdrop in Strathcarron’s online garden. Dedicate the flower to someone special or in memory of a loved one and see it bloom.3. If you're planning a winter or spring wedding, some brides like to purchase a Snowdrop pin for their guests, in memory of a loved one.
As a charity we are  incredibly grateful to our generous supporters, without these donations, we just could not carry on.
Thank you.
