Mrs Tilly’s & Strathcarron re-launch charity partnership Award winning local business Mrs Tilly's have set a goal to ‘’pay for a day’ here at Strathcarron Hospice, by gifting bars of their tablet and fudge to sell in our shops across Forth Valley, Cumbernauld & Kilsyth. The bars will be on sale in our 13 shops for £1 per bar with every penny going straight into helping us deliver specialist palliative care in the Hospice and across the local community. With rising costs and demands on our services, our costs have risen – after NHS funding - to £14,315 every single day. Support from a local business, to gift in kind in this way, is a wonderful way to help us generate funds to continue our vital work in our communities. So far, the initiative has raised more than £8,000 towards our fundraising. Elisabeth Paterson, Mrs Tilly's with Fiona Hannah, Strathcarron Hospice Elisabeth Paterson from Mrs Tilly’s said, “Having supported Strathcarron over previous years we fully appreciate the resources required to support such a worthy cause. Mrs Tilly’s feels privileged to be able to continue that support by supplying our fudge and tablet to Strathcarron’s retail outlets free of charge. This is an ideal opportunity to raise much needed funds.” We are so grateful to Mrs Tilly's supporting our work and setting this incredible goal of paying for a day at the Hospice. Our Retail Shops are delighted to offer our customers the opportunity to pick up a sweet treat whilst they are in store as well as the opportunity for supporters to buy the fudge and tablet to gift to wedding guests as favours and similar, with every penny going into patient care right here in Forth Valley, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth.
