As we head into February many of you will have taken pleasure in seeing tiny Snowdrops pushing their way through the cold earth to bloom once again.

Snowdrops are generally the first flower to bloom at the end of winter and the beginning of spring so bring with them a renewed feeling of hope. Here at the Hospice we have a beautiful snowdrop garden, enjoyed by visiting families and staff alike. There are benches where everyone can come for some fresh air and quiet reflection in amongst these beautiful little flowers.

During February Strathcarron holds its annual Snowdrop Appeal and you can show your support in many different ways. Many retailers will be displaying boxes of pin badges for you to purchase by donation or you can 'plant' a snowdrop in the virtual garden on the website. If you, or anyone you know, operates a small business or shop you can get a box of Snowdrop pins for your customers to buy and wear, by giving us a call on 01324 826222 or register on-line. Many brides also choose Snowdrop pins as favours for springtime weddings.

We hope you will join us this year by supporting the Strathcarron Snowdrop Appeal in any way that you are able and wear your pin with pride in support of the very special people we care for throughout the year. Please visit SNOWDROP 2022 | Strathcarron Hospice
