Over  the past year many people have turned to online shopping for both essentials and treats for ourselves.

It’s sad to see so many shops closed at the moment due to current restrictions and we hope they will re-open when they can. Strathcarron Hospice relies very strongly on its retail income, with all profits going directly in to caring for people with an incurable illness or condition. In any given year the shops donate around £500,000 to the Hospice which is effectively enough to cover the costs of providing a team of Clinical Nurse Specialists who support people in their own homes. This team of 16 help people with pain control, symptom management and overall support for the person and their carer.

Unfortunately, all the shops have been closed again until current restrictions lift. We are still operating the eBay shop online and here you will find a wide range of pre-loved and brand new items; everything from a vintage Real Madrid football strip to a brand new sofa. It's a real eclectic mix of unusual items which have been donated by supporters. Have a look on eBay at the Strathcarron shop and you might just come away with the perfect find. https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/strathcarronhospice

If you are an Amazon user you can also support the Hospice when shopping by adding Amazon Smile to your phone app. Once you've chosen Strathcarron a small donation will be made against any purchase you make and the price to you remains the same.

We hope to welcome back all the happy Hospice shoppers soon to a store near you. In the meantime, take a look online!
