Strathcarron Hospice 10K 2026

Our Strathcarron Hospice 10K is our biggest fundraising event in our calendar, and we would love for you to set your sights on this challenge and join us to raise vital funds to support our patients and their families when they need us most

Setting off from Denny High School, the race takes you around Denny & Bonnybridge covering a 10K route not far from the hospice itself. Open to all runners age 15+, our 10K is suitable for those tackling their first 10K, to the more serious athletes looking for a personal best. Whether you're running for yourself or running in memory of a loved one, join us to run for Strathcarron Hospice.

If you would like to take part but don't live locally, you can register for our virtual option which means you can create your own 10K route on Sunday 18th October to run in support of Strathcarron Hospice wherever you may be.

On the day our Hospice mascot Ron will be there for photos and to cheer you on as you cross the finish line!

The suggested fundraising target for this event is £100, with every penny you raise making a real difference to those living with life limiting illnesses.

Interested in volunteering at this event?

We wouldn't be able to put on this event without our incredible volunteers who generously support us on the day. We're actively looking for volunteer marshals to help us encourage our runners and ensure they safely make their way to the finish line. As a marshal, volunteers may have to walk to their position and/or stand for a prolonged period of time.

Are you aged 15-16 or School age?

For our younger runners, we will once again be awarding the Paul Canavan Memorial Cup to the fastest runner, male or female, aged 15-16 years; and also our school's shield to the fastest 15yrs to school-age participant.
