I sadly lost both my Mum and Dad to Cancer, with my Mum passing in 2011.

More recently, my Dad (aka PawPea) was terminally ill in 2020 and hoped to benefit from Strathcarron's Hospice at Home service, but passed before they could help him.

Many years ago my family benefited from the support of Strathcarron Hospice when my Nana was in the last days of her life and I never forget how amazing the staff were with her and my family.

So my family were lucky, (along with so many others) to have the support of the team at Strathcarron and given how much it costs to keep the Hospice running each day, I want to do my part in securing its future.

I am taking part in this year's Edinburgh Marathon, and hope to raise £2026 with your help. Kris Procek
