Walk for Nanty - 30 miles to Knoydart Donate After Storm Amy made us postpone our fundraising walk in October, we are off this weekend (15/16th May). Alasdair, Donnie, Joanne & Douglas are lacing up their boots and taking on a 30-mile trek from Glenfinnan to Knoydart — one of Scotland’s most remote and breathtaking corners — in loving memory of our Nanty, Mary Ann Fleming, who was so important in our lives. She was always with us during the big milestones and all the other times too. She really was one in a million to us. We’re walking to raise funds for Strathcarron Hospice, whose compassionate care gave our Nanty dignity, comfort, and peace. Their support meant the world to the family, and now we want to give back — step by step, mile by mile. The route is no easy stroll. It winds through rough terrain, wild glens, and remote paths with no road access. There will be walking, wild camping, hopefully good weather and we’ll be remembering our Nanty along the way, there are some classic stories in there. Every donation, no matter the size, helps Strathcarron continue their incredible work supporting families. If you can, please support us on this journey — for our Nanty, for the hospice, and for all those who need their care. Thank you for walking with us in spirit. Joanne Leitch Manage Cookie Preferences
