21 September 7pm-8:15pm
The first Webinar, led by Cormac Russell and Susan High, will focus on how communities have responded to the pandemic and we will explore what might happen next as we venture into the future.

Cormac Russell is the Managing Director of Nurture Development and over the last 25 years, Cormac’s work has demonstrated an enduring impact in 35 countries around the world. He has trained communities, agencies, NGOs and governments in ABCD and other community-based approaches in Africa, Asia, Australia/Oceania, Europe and North America.
Susan High is Community Development Coordinator at Strathcarron Hospice. She has worked as a Community Clinical Nurse Specialist in Palliative Care for more than 20 years before beginning a journey of learning and discovery in 2013. Working on a project to build community capacity by recruiting, training and managing volunteer befrienders to support people as they approach end of life, Susan began to recognise that the role of the specialist is supplementary to the role of the community. Over the last 8 years Susan has led the development of a Compassionate Communities approach at Strathcarron. The team has grown to 9 non-clinical community workers who deliver a range of projects across Forth Valley and North Lanarkshire
