We hope everyone is enjoying their time over the summer holiday period, whether home or away. Here at your Hospice, due to the vulnerability of the people being cared for, we still have restrictions to adhere to such as distancing and mask-wearing (not so pleasant during a heatwave!).
All the Hospice services continue to be delivered for local people, both inside the building and, more commonly, out in the communities where people reside. And, of course, this is all made possible by loyal supporters.
Especially during the current cost of living crisis being faced by so many people, we appreciate your support more than ever. As a charity we know only too well that when belts need to be tightened, charitable giving is something many will give up. We fully appreciate the constraints people are coming under and we know every donation made, regardless of size, is put to the best of use in supporting local people and their families facing a terminal or life limiting illness diagnosis.
This year, the Hospice has been able to re-introduce Fundraising Events as a method of having some fun or challenging yourself, whilst also providing vital funds to enable us to continue providing care.
