Daycare volunteer Ken Maclean will be joining Team Strathcarron again this Sunday to run the Stirling Scottish Marathon, flying the flag for the Hospice in his distinctive blue and orange Team Strathcarron vest. Ken ran the Stirling Marathon for the Hospice in 2017 and said that would be his last one - he's saying the same about 2018 - see you again next year Ken?! in the attached film, courtesy of our supporters Heirloom Media Ltd, Ken explains the motivation behind his running and his support for the Hospice, and what keeps him going when he hits that 'wall' marathon runners know so well!  All of our runners have their own personal reasons for taking on this personal challenge as part of #teamstrathcarron and we will be there to cheer every one of them over the finish line, along with our friends from Life Fit Wellness who will again be providing very welcome post race massage to our team. Without the support of people in the community taking on their own personal challenges to help us raise the £12,900 we need to find every day to provide the care our patients and families deserve, we simply could not continue to do all that we do here at the Hospice. Good luck to all  Team Strathcarron runners this weekend, both marathon and half marathon - we know they will do the Hospice proud!
