Strathcarron Hospice relies on your financial support

Can you believe Strathcarron Hospice relies on the financial support, from people such as yourself, to so generously donate just under £5.5million a year? This enables us to care for your family members, friends, neighbours and colleagues at a critical time in their lives when they need us to support them.

The £5.5million is needed over and above any financial support from local NHS authorities. When you see it written down like this, the publics support is astonishing and, as a charity, we are eternally grateful for every single gift we receive, more so during a period of hardship, as many people are experiencing right now.

The many ways in which people fundraise for the Hospice is always a source of inspiration for all the staff. 

In the past two weeks we have been running an initiative called 'Win Your Wedding', supported by Central FM. In return for raising as much money as possible for Strathcarron Hospice, the winning couple won a wedding of their dreams, to be held next year. The competing couples were creative, inventive and put their heart and soul into their epic fundraising efforts for 12 days and together they raised over £20,000.

Congratulations to local couple, Chris and Kira, who went above and beyond, to raise £15,000 for local people who need Hospice care. Very well done to both of them and we look forward to seeing the wedding photos next year!
