No sooner than we are easing out of the pandemic, it seems the world is now facing a further humanitarian crisis which is deeply upsetting to everyone, including all of us here at the Hospice.
For most of us it is a human desire to help others in need, be that financially or in other practical ways. If you think about it, Strathcarron Hospice exists to care for your loved ones by other people who support the work we do by helping us to fundraise. Individuals, groups, schools and businesses all pull together in this massive effort to donate in excess of £14,000 voluntary income every day that it costs to run all of the Hospice services (this figure is over and above some partial NHS funding). You deserve the very best from us if and when you need us most.

With this in mind, we would like to thank everyone who supported the Strathcarron Snowdrop Appeal which take place every year during February. This year the total donations given amounted to £20,261 and we are grateful to every single person who contributed. You can be assured we treat your money with respect and it is used directly towards patient care, as it has been for the past 40 years, since we opened our doors and arms to the very first patients.

In the uncertain world we live in it is an absolute must we continue with our fundraising efforts for the Hospice to ensure we continue to deliver the very best care for you, your loved ones, and those in your wider community.
Thank you for your continued support during 2022.
