Donna’s big leap

Donna Laidlaw

I am so privileged to work for Strathcarron Hospice @Home, supporting people whose wish it is to remain at home for end of life care, so to raise some money for the hospice I have set myself the challenge of taking part in the Forth Bridge abseil.

Roped in to this challenge!

Sheena Ferguson

I am participating in this challenge as I have great admiration for all work carried out within Hospices. Strathcarron Hospice is close to my heart as Susan, my daughter, is ward sister of the In-Patient Unit.

I am doing this in memory of the best man and my hero my dad. Strathcarron were amazing with my dad and us as a family the love and support they gave us we couldn’t of coped without it and the time and care they gave my dad was just amazing and to see him smile showed just how good they were especially when it came to meal times my dad got his favourite foods and that was a lot for him and to see him eat. I can’t put in to words what they done for us but I hope me doing this will give them somet

I'm fundraising for the hospice because it's an amazing place with the most awesome staff! Every penny I raise goes straight to helping others!!!

I’ve chosen to take part in this challenge in memory of my sorely missed big brother Stuart, who passed away at Strathcarron Hospice on 29th December last year.

I am participating in the Forth Bridge Abseil in aid of Strathcarron Hospice because I believe that people should not only die well, but live well until the end of life.
