The Strathcarron Hospice provides essential care for care for people with illnesses that cannot be cured including cancer, lung, heart or kidney failure and a range of non-malignant and neurological diseases.
I have chosen to join Team Strathcarron on the Kilimanjaro Trek because I know the services the Hospice provide to people living with life limiting conditions in our community are exceptional, and I want to help the raise the £12,900 they need to find every single day to continue providing these services. This is a huge challenge for me, but I know that every penny I raise will make a real difference to the patients and families Strathcarron Hospice care for.

Never being one to be without a challenge, this year I am pulling out all the stops and am going for a big one. In September this year I will be joining Team Strathcarron to climb Kilimanjaro. In the past two years I have raised funds by running the Stirling Marathon, so this year taking a few steps up rather than along.
I have signed up to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and raise funds for Strathcarron Hospice in Denny. The Hospice is a fantastic place that provides care and support to people with life limiting illnesses.
