The Team

Our experienced Strathcarron Hospice nurses, creative arts facilitators, complementary therapists and community based connectors and volunteers support people and their families living with life-limiting illness.

Starting with a good conversation, we will explore what’s important to you. Together we will discuss what you can manage yourself and what you may need our support with. We are here with practical, clinical and emotional support and advice.

You can shape this support, tapping in and out, as and when you need us.

Anyone living with a life limiting illness can speak directly to the team to discuss their individual needs, at any stage in their journey. For the first time, this enables people to contact us directly without requiring a professional referral.

Our hope is to increase access and reach people earlier in their illness. At any point, we can also refer people on to any member of the wider Hospice Team and explore support (either virtually, or through local groups or written resources) within our local communities.

People Testimonials

“I felt abandoned. I am so grateful to the Live your Life team for unjumbling my worries. Now I have a plan, an expert team at Strathcarron, who I can pick up the phone to at any time. A weight has well and truly been lifted”.

“As a carer, just picking up the phone to let off steam, speaking to the team at Strathcarron feels like my much needed safety net. They help me personally by giving me tools to cope, as well as signposting local help and services available to me. The relaxation for carers course is lovely too”.
